Lipovarin is a combination of multiple stimulant agents and one appetite suppressant.
- Advantra-Z (active ingredient Synephrine)
- Green Tea extract
- Several other substances required for fat-burning processes.
Let's take a closer look at the role of each ingredient:
- Advantra-Z (active ingredient Synephrine) is a metabolic stimulant with fat-burning
properties supposedly similar to Ephedrine, but believed to have a much safer cardiovascular
profile. As you may know, Ephedrine was banned by the FDA, after evidence pointed to
the fact it may trigger heart attacks and strokes. Naturally, it left a great void in the
weight loss industry, which now appears to have been filled by Synephrine (Advantra-Z).
One clinical study suggested that subjects taking Advantra-Z at a strength of 30% may
burn 500 additional calories per day.
- Green Tea extract is known for its thermogenic (fat-burning) action, as well as for its
high content of antioxidants, which slow the aging process by neutralizing
damaging free radicals.
- Caffeine has well-documented thermogenic and metabolic stimulant effects.
- Metabromine is another thermogenic agent.
- L-carnitine is an aminoacid which intervenes in the transport and breakdown of fatty acids.
- Serotain TM is an appetite suppressant also credited with an euphoric effect.
- Coral Calcium and several other substances which are required in fat-burning processes
round up the composition of Lipovarin.

The problem with Lipovarin is that it may have too much of a stimulant
effect. Looking at the ingredient list, we see Synephrine, Metabromine, Caffeine, and Green Tea
extract - all agents with metabolic stimulant effect.
As such, it's only reasonable to expect certain side effects such as restlessness, nervousness, headaches, or
insomnia. Also, increased heart rate and blood pressure are not out of the question, and this
should constitute a warning for those with cardiovascular disease or cardiovascular risk factors.
In principle, any agent causing increased heart rate and blood pressure may increase the risk for
cardiac arrhythmias, heart attack and stroke.
As a matter of fact, we found a fair number of positive customer testimonials
for this product (independent of the websites marketing it). Looking at the overall picture, it seems that many people are happy with their weight loss on Lipovarin, and we haven't seen many complaints of adverse effects.
The recommended dose is 3 capsules twice a day. (Some users reported jitteriness and
nervousness at this dose, which subsided when cutting the dose down to 1-2 capsules twice a
Lipovarin is available online through many retailers, but it's a rather pricey product.
The cost ranges from $56 to $70 for 150 tablets.
